Volunteer 

Activities include arranging flower donations, arts & crafts, and playing board/card games with the elderly. One of the ways we are unique is in arranging flower donations from flower shops WITH older adults at senior centers. Using arranging flowers and activities as a medium, we engage in conversations with the elderly -- as we open our hearts to sharing our perspectives. Arranged flowers are given to elderly persons in the senior center and placed in communal areas. 

We send handmade & e-cards to older adults at senior centers, hospitals, and at home. Members should put in their best effort to design the cards. We reserve the right to filter all artwork to maintain quality to deliver to the elderly.

Crafting cards can make the elderly's day and remind them that there is a community of young people cheering them on. 

Seeing the impact music can have is a great joy to experience. We offer the opportunity to perform and interact with older adults at senior centers. Performances are held throughout each year, with major performances including during the holidays and New Year. 

We organize fundraising events and creative ways we can raise funds. There are also opportunities for fundraising throughout the year, such as selling our flower bookmarks at local farmer's markets. Funds go to buying flowers, transportation, shipping fees for cards, to senior centers in need, and to services for older adults! A major event in fundraising is coming up soon...
